Apologies to everyone for not updating the website in so long! Class 2 have been so busy with their learning we have completely forgotten to update everyone on what we have been up to.

We have continued to love learning in Class 2 with lots of children receiving certificates for all their wonderful work.

We were thrilled to receive our letter from the Queen, thanking us for the Birthday cards we sent to her for her 90th Birthday. It was amazing to receive the envelope from Buckingham Palace and have a card and letter!

The Year 2 children had a fantastic time at the mini Olympics at Melbourne Stadium, it really got us in the mood for Rio in the Summer! The children all took part brilliantly and were a credit to the school.

The whole of the Infants had the most wonderful day at Danbury Park bringing our Pirate Topic to a fitting finale. The children loved working with Captain Annie and Captain Sue participating  a selection of pirate activities. When we returned to school it was obvious that the children had a fantastic day as they all wrote fabulous recounts of the day and wrote kind letters of thanks to the rangers who supported the day.

And as if that wasn't enough,  we are now getting ready for our sports afternoon and our Inflatable fun day on Wednesday 13th July. We hope to see lots of you there cheering us on and enjoying the afternoon with us. We will all be ready for our well deserved Summer holiday after all of this!
