Thursday :)

On our penultimate day we headed out to the beautiful Alum Bay where we took a boat ride to The Needles....

Then it was off to Freshwater to find some fossils - the children loved it and were extremely enthusiastic!

The hotel owner has said that our school has been one of the best school she has ever had! Well done Class 4!

So we will see you all tomorrow! We're off to the Roman Brading Villa and then catching the midday ferry. Hopefully we'll be back around 4ish - but we will let you know via parentmail if we get held up!

Already we're in the middle of our stay - and the weather has been very kind to us! Today we were at Blackgang Chine and we all had an amazing time - roller coasters, water slides, pirate ships, spinning cups etc. - all great fun!

Outside the entrance!

Terrifying beasts!

And me in Bethany's sparkly hat - looking good!

Off to Alum Bay and a boat cruise around the Needles tomorrow and then fossil hunting!

Looking forward to another great day!

Day 2 here on the Isle of Wight and another great day. It all started with a game of crazy golf! (I won my game against Mrs Whitaker and Mrs Berry - just saying...)

Then it was off to the Shanklin Theatre where the children performed live - singing and dancing - they were great!

Then it was off to the Isle of Wight Zoo!

Off to Blackgang Chine tomorrow - we're all having a brill time!

What a fantastic start to our trip to the Isle of Wight!

We first went to the HMS Victory and saw first hand how the sailors and captains lived aboard. Following a quick dash to the shop, we eventually managed to make our way slowly and surely across The Solent. Once unpacked and eaten, we wrote our postcards and went for an evening stroll on the beach.

We're all thoroughly tired but looking forward to more fun tomorrow!
